Welcome to Seismicc

Welcome to Seismicc

Seismicc is concerned with energy sustainability in its widest sense - from conservation to the generation of electricity from renewable sources.

Inspiration has been taken from a number of sources (see References) and Seismicc is, where possible, applying the concepts to a 1970's residential home in Danbury in the east of England.

Seismicc is the name we have chosen and it reflects the seismic changes which are occurring in the world as the population in the developing world increases its consumption of resources to western levels. It also stands for:

Sustainable Energy + Integrated Systems = Massive Impact on Climate Change

- bit of a mouthful but we hope that  you get the point!

We hope you enjoy some of the things we have learned on our journey - some of which are counter-intuitive, some bizarre but most are just plain common sense.
